City Hall Elopement

I have an extraordinary elopement day to share! On the auspicious date of 7/7/23, Evelina and Gil decided to make their union "paper official" by eloping at City Hall in New York City, before their grand ceremony in Naples, Italy later that month. It was an intimate affair, filled with love, laughter, and a celebration of all things New York.

Their elopement began at the City Hall, where Evelina and Gil exchanged vows in a small and heartfelt ceremony. It was a moment that held great significance, marking the official start of their lifelong commitment to one another. After the ceremony, the newlyweds embarked on a culinary adventure, indulging in two quintessential New York food items: a hotdog from a street vendor and a slice of mouthwatering pizza in Little Italy. Much to my surprise, we traveled between locations in style; Gil rented a BMW convertible for the special day and I had fun taking photos with the top down as we raced through lower Manhattan. These simple yet iconic treats added an extra touch of charm and authenticity to their day.

In capturing their celebration, Evelina's love for black and white photography took center stage. Many of the photos were beautifully shot in black and white, enhancing the editorial and documentary feel of their special day. The monochromatic palette added a timeless elegance and a touch of artistic flair to the images, capturing the essence of their love story in a truly unique way.

Evelina and Gil's elopement was a testament to their love, resilience, and the vibrant spirit of New York City. It was an honor to be part of their journey, documenting the intimate moments and candid emotions that unfolded throughout the day. From the laughter shared over a hotdog to the stolen glances exchanged in the bustling streets of Little Italy, each photograph became a cherished memory, frozen in time.

Congratulations to Evelina and Gil! May their love continue to grow, and may their upcoming wedding be filled with unforgettable moments that mirror the magic of their elopement day.
